Jacqueline Paul speaks with Isabella Lenihan-Ikin, the National President of the New Zealand Union of Students’ Association (NZUSA), the national representative body for tertiary students (at universities and polytechnics) in Aotearoa. NZUSA believes that all New Zealanders should have access to a barrier-free and accessible tertiary education. Isabella has recently completed her undergraduate study in Biomedical Sciences at Victoria University of Wellington. Isabella is a current Rhodes Scholar and will soon begin a Masters of International Health and Tropical Medicine (focusing on the health impacts of climate change) at Oxford University.
